Toat Monument.

   On the A29 2 miles north out of Pulborough turn down Blackgate Lane on your left. Turning left again and then right it can be seen from a gateway in the distance. It is on private land but you can get closer by driving up to the farm and walking down a track through a field.

This super tower was built in 1823 as a memorial to Samual Drinkald who fell off his horse and died on this spot.
