Courtlands.

     Courtlands House is a mansion and was built in 1820 by William Oliver. The little Summer House in the grounds is not really a Folly but an interesting overlooked feature and is only 200 metres from Goring Folly. In the early 20th century Mr. Paul Schweder undertook extensive renovations to the mansion and this little building was almost certainly added at that time.  This little building can be seen from Parklands Avenue off Goring Road.      Click photo to return.
